The founder
The short version
I'm Matthew Cowser — a photographer and builder in Phoenix, Arizona. By day I do digital communications. After hours, I build Dub Thee.
Dub Thee started as a photography name. It grew into an agency because one thing kept happening: I'd finish a shoot and the owner would ask, "Can you also fix my website?"
So now I do. Photography, websites, and the marketing that ties them together — for the independent businesses and working artists that big agencies ignore. The shops with great food and no website. The makers with beautiful work and blurry photos. That's who this is for.
I run the whole thing myself, on purpose. When you hire Dub Thee, the person who answers your email is the person holding the camera and writing the code. Nothing gets lost between departments, because there are no departments.
How I work
A person, not a pipeline
You talk to me. I do the work. If something's wrong, you tell me and I fix it.
Priced for shops
Flat rates an independent business can actually say yes to. No hourly mystery, no upsell maze.
You own everything
Your photos, your site, your files — yours outright. No licenses held hostage, no handoffs that leave you stuck.
That's the whole pitch. The rest is the work.
